Veronica Fusaro to Represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2026

Twenty Roots Music is proud to represent Veronica Fusaro as she represents Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

The 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in May 2026, with Switzerland competing in the second semi-final on 14 May 2026.

About Veronica Fusaro

Born and raised in Thun (BE), Veronica Fusaro has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in the Swiss music scene. Her sound blends pop with elements of soul and rock, combining sharp lyricism, emotional clarity, and groove-driven arrangements.

An accomplished and respected live performer, Veronica has played over 500 concerts in Switzerland and internationally. Her career highlights include appearances at Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Gurtenfestival, as well as supporting Mark Knopfler at the Amphitheatre of Nîmes. In 2016, she was named “Best Talent” by Swiss national radio SRF 3, marking an early milestone in her artistic journey.

Known for her strong stage presence, Veronica balances vulnerability and confidence, delivering performances that feel both personal and powerful.

Representing Switzerland at Eurovision

Speaking about the announcement, Veronica says:

“I am extremely happy and honoured to represent Switzerland at Eurovision. It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share my music on such a beautiful stage, with people watching from all over the world.”

With more than 170 million viewers worldwide, Eurovision offers an unparalleled platform — one that Veronica approaches with authenticity, artistic integrity, and emotional presence.

Music & Artistic Direction

Veronica’s Eurovision appearance coincides with her current creative chapter following the release of her second album, Looking for Connection (October 2025). The album explores the growing desire for authenticity in a digitally overstimulated world, reflecting on closeness, distance, and human connection through danceable grooves and lyrical honesty.

Her debut album, All the Colors of the Sky (2023), entered the Swiss album charts at number five and was widely praised for its emotional depth and confident songwriting. Across both records, her warm, expressive, and instantly recognisable voice remains the emotional anchor.

Eurovision Performance & Creative Team

The song Veronica will perform at Eurovision 2026 will be announced on 11 March 2026.

The visual and artistic direction of her Eurovision performance is being developed in collaboration with acclaimed creative director Fredrik Benke Rydman.

Rydman is one of the most influential creatives in modern Eurovision history, having directed winning performances for Sweden (2015) and Switzerland (2024), as well as a second-place finish for Finland (2023). For Veronica, the staging concept places musical identity, emotional presence, and storytelling at its core.

Selection Process

Switzerland’s Eurovision entry was selected from 493 submitted songs through a multi-stage process involving an international public vote and an expert jury. The final result was determined by a 50/50 split between audience and jury votes.
